Last year, instead of resolutions, I made goals. You could argue it is just semantics, but a goal seems more like something to work toward, rather than a decree in the way of a resolution. A little more forgiving, if you will.
I mostly accomplished last years goals, which were to night-wean (Quinn was fully weaned at 19 months), start cooking the countries of the world (25 countries off the list) and to go tech-free one day a week (total failure.). I feel pretty good about this.
So, goals for 2014:
1. Read at least 110 books
2. Continue to cook the countries of the world
3. Exercise at least 3 times a week with regularity (not that original, I know, but necessary). Perhaps a more motivating way to phrase it: complete at least 156 (52×3) work outs this year.
4. Write more
5. Beginning in spring, take Quinn on a monthly hike
Ready, set, go!
